Feeling like you're not quite in love with your life? Let's change that.
I support people to:
Find clarity in their life,
Regulate and manage emotions,
Have better relationships, and
Live more grounded and
centered lives.
By now, you know that it's time to master your emotions, instead of the other way around. You're ready to stop reacting impulsively to a situation without thinking, and to create more self-regulation, and self-soothing.
Or perhaps you're tired of feeling pressured to appear perfect and maintain a particular image.
And no one wants to feel like they're drowning in everything going on around them, or moving through life without a sense of a solid inner foundation - including you.
That's why it's time to change the quality of your life.
Whether you're doing this work solo, or with a partner, let's change the quality of your life
for the better.
Hi, I'm Rebecca.
Registered Counsellor, Sex Therapist, Couples Therapist,
Clinical Coach & Consultant
I'm often told that I say just the right thing - at the right time. And that I offer insightful perspectives, within a comfortable space, where it feels safe to be real. For as long as I can remember, I've been a helper. Naturally, people from all walks of life gravitate towards me for guidance, inspiration, and support.
I walk my talk.
Just a few years ago, you would have found me in the whirlwind of busyness, not fully present in my life, and as a result, not consistently happy or fulfilled.
Outwardly, I looked very successful - good relationships, professional success, travel - but something essential felt like it was missing from my inner world. I spent way too many years placing focus on external markers of success, achievement, and adventure, and not enough energy and intention toward underlying emotional and existential challenges.
And... I was overwhelmed, my energy was frazzled, and I wasn't able to stay grounded for very long. I craved more depth to my connection with the people and things that I valued most, but I was just too busy being busy, and ...
I wasn't showing up for myself.
And when we don't show up for ourselves, we don't truly show up for others.
The turning point came when life presented a challenge that disrupted my sense-of-self and direction, and simultaneously invited me to embrace the opportunity for meaningful change.
I gave myself permission to slow down - and sit in stillness and quiet. And then I tapped into my inner wisdom. I discovered and nurtured the unique rhythms that support my vitality, and I established ways of being in the world that created the quality in my life that I was craving.
This first part of my process saw me concentrate my energy on:
... and I haven't looked back since.
With intention and
focused energy,
I changed the quality of my life.
And now
I help others do the same.

Love, Life & Relationships.
Your relationship with your counsellor is the most important element of your counselling success.
Effective counselling depends on a strong and healthy relationship between you and me. And this relationship is just as essential in my clinical coaching and consulting work.
So, as you can imagine, it's really important that we're a good fit.
You'll find all good counsellors listen and connect well, have cultural competence, and follow their professional and ethical guidelines that keep everyone safe. I've got all that, so...
My out-of-the-box thinking can be particularily helpful when traditional therapy approaches may not resonate as strongly.
What makes me different?
Lots of things!
But a real game-changer is grounded in my approach, which is infused with the spirit of a Sensitive Sensation Seeker - and for the right people, I'm the perfect fit.
As a Sensitive Sensation Seeker, I embody a distinctive blend of heightened sensitivity and a proactive pursuit of novel and stimulating experiences. These two traits complement each other in a balanced way, adding a unique flavour to my approach.
I draw from a wide range of therapeutic modalities in an integrated way.
All the ordinary ones, such as CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Existential Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Plus, other less known but extraordinary gems, such as Nature-Based Therapy, Dance Movement Therapy (and other Expressive Therapies), Body-Based (Somatic) Therapies, Bio-Energetics Therapy, Neuropsychology, Internal Family Systems, and Trauma-Informed Therapy, among others.
How can you tell
if we might be
a good fit?
People who like my approach tend to be:
✔ Interested in a holistic approach that supports them to explore and understand their experiences at a deeper level. They seek guidance to navigate and make sense of strong emotions. And they're open to exploring other aspects of their life that impact their wellbeing, such as body, mind, spirit, energy, and environment.
✔ Interested in personal growth, and willing to engage in activities or exercises that help them explore their inner world, and limits, in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. If you're open to growth and development through adventurous exploration (even if it feels a bit scary), you'll really enjoy my approach. Sensitive sensation seekers thrive on personal growth - and it's contagious! You'll find enthusiastic support and promotion of your self-discovery in our sessions -
and we'll go at your pace.
✔ Open-minded, seeking novel experiences. They're open to exploring new ideas, perspectives, and therapeutic modalities (that sometimes go beyond traditional talk therapy) and enjoy my creative and adventurous nature.
If you're looking for a counsellor who values dynamic and meaningful interactions, I'm here to provide a space where our connection becomes a catalyst for positive change and exploration.
